Job Description

As the Associate Manager, Customer Marketing, you will be responsible for Customer Marketing activities across all assigned brands, segments or projects with geographic scope limited to the assigned cluster. You will drive and implement Category and Channel strategies in collaboration with marketing commercialization and country sales team for assigned category.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between Sales & Marketing teams and act as the point of contact to other functional departments for respected Category and Channel, as well as establish and implement category and channel strategies which include New Product Development (NPD), brand priorities, brand campaign, below-the-line advertising (BTL), assortment strategy, promotional strategy, and distribution strategy
  • Develop and communicate sales strategies and trade narratives that drive excellent sales execution, category growth, and business results
  • Translate marketing and brand strategy into a customer-friendly, go-to-market execution plan, in store visibility and merchandising by channel
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales in the timely execution of category specific platforms, drive commercialization and Base/NPD initiatives
  • Develop and share best practices of point-of-sales execution and product mix recommendation for distribution
  • Oversee the trade promotion strategy and ensure the establishment and conduct of appropriate controls to manage resources and business financial targets
  • Partner with Sales Operation and Route to Market teams for continued distribution improvement plan in assigned channels
  • Work with Finance and Sales teams to develop Net Revenue Management (NRM), pricing and promotional strategy in line with company targets
  • Support Country Manager in key areas like selection of projects, initiatives, prioritization, and allocation of resources

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, ideally with cross-functional experience in Customer Marketing, and either in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Experience in managing channel and category
