Job Description

Vox Teneo is a human sized web application development and MSP, located in Bandung, specialized in web solutions for worldwide customers. We are looking for a proficient Cloud Engineer and System Administrator.

General Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Azure, DevOps, VMware, apache, nginx, Linux, debian, Ubuntu, Windows OS, VPN, Docker, Kubernetes, Router, Network Security
  • Preferably Supervisor/Coordinator specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provision and configure IAAS and PAAS resources in Microsoft Azure supporting web applications developed in Open Source and Microsoft technologies.
  • Consult and deliver client cloud migration projects.
  • Manage, maintain and support production infrastructure and systems for external clients.
  • Support of development teams for resources, configurations and deployments.
  • Production infrastructure incident support.
  • Implement and monitor disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Create documentation for production support and process/configuration standards.
  • Evolution of automation processes and systems (Jenkins, AzureDevOps).
  • Support and coach junior members of the team.
  • Collaborate with geo-located internal teams and external clients.

Profile

  • IT Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree or experience equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bandung.
  • Strong IT operations and engineering background.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage several complex projects at one time, and utilize time effectively.
  • Ability to Multi-Task and be resourceful.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate to all level of the business.
  • High proficiency in English.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Open Source web servers and reverse-proxy (Apache, Nginx, HA Proxy)
  • Skills in Linux and Microsoft operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, Windows)
  • Good knowledge of networking, routing, VPNs (IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP protocols)
  • Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven experience in Azure
  • Virtualization experience (VMWare)
  • Basic knowledge of database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and tools
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
  • Competent with mainstream office automation, project management, and communications tools.
