As Head Business Development (Digital Out of Home), you will take the wheel in designing and developing Gojek’s Digital Out of Home platform. You will strategize, plan, and solve customer problems through operational solutions, successful incubation, and proof of concepts of key pillars of growth that need to be productized. You will be leading the program’s P&L, managing a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders, and developing a sustainable, innovative, and scalable programmatic DOOH Business that will significantly increase the welfare of our driver-partners in the Indonesian region.
What You Will Do
Unlock value and growth in the DOOH inventory platform on both the demand and supply facets of the business
Collaborate with the Demand and GTM teams to position DOOH monetization products in the market, helping them understand the product’s value proposition, product-market fit, competitive features, and target audience to drive sales and growth
Prioritize initiatives that are to be scaled with product and technology, with a design and growth hacking mindset
Manage supply partners portfolio, as required for growth of the DOOH business
Manage a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders in managing risks and growth for the business, amongst others.
Capex planning, budgeting, and expenditure
Implement strategy and leverage in collaboration
What You Will Need
At least 7 years professional qualifying experience with a proven track record in rapid and high-quality execution
Experience in top tier consulting, technology, or similar program management field (MarTech or AdTech experience preferred but not mandatory)
Critical and analytical thinking ability in understanding complex data infrastructure in driving actionable insights
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, and demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus at senior levels and explain complex concepts in simple, layman’s terms.
Entrepreneurial, problem-solving, strong business acumen and commercial mindset Business level fluency in both Bahasa and English
About the Team The Promogo team, part of the Vehicle Monetization team at Gojek (AdTech group), is a small family who strives to make a big social impact through revolutionizing the digital out-of-home advertising experience. Composed of tech engineers to on-the-ground operators, our team is spread across Jakarta and Bangalore. We connect brands to our family of driver-partners and work to create positive brand exposure to the wider public - right from our vehicles themselves. Our team has recently launched a new advertising medium called GoScreen - the first LED screen with real-time impressions in Indonesia. This launch illustrates what our collective goal is and has always been: leveraging cutting-edge technology to showcase Gojek's offerings, and putting to action our commitment to enhancing the welfare of our driver-partners; the ad mechanisms we create aim to drive up business for our driver-partners. Another one of our goals is to ensure an ideal, safe, and enjoyable environment for both our riders and driver-partners. In fact, our latest project was a brand collaboration to install air purifiers into 8,000 GoCars to ensure the safety of our riders and driver-partners amidst this global pandemic. Speaking of the pandemic, it has brought an entirely new work style for us. Just like the team in that K-drama "Start-Up" (yep, we are big K-drama fans over here!), we rely heavily on our group discussions and team collaborations via Zoom and Slack to get our work done. We hail from various backgrounds and work experiences, but we do share a real love of what we do, since we get to see the results of our work pan out in our driver-partners lives. Off hours, you'd probably find our team members binging the latest Netflix dramas, out for a jog, or trying to whip up a delicious meal in the kitchen.
