Job Description
  • Understanding the strategic thinking required for effective IT procedures in advertising/media production companies
  • Identifying the hardware and software needs of, and to provide solutions to, customer initiatives
  • Assisting in the adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements with a methodical and disciplined approach to all duties
  • Providing telephone, face-to-face and online support to customers
  • Installation of all Groupe approved software requirements
  • Connecting users to networks and providing initial training in facilities and applications and individual training as appropriate
  • Providing information relating to hardware and software procurement within the Groupe standards
  • Undertaking housekeeping and reporting functions for the area of responsibility

Qualifications


Experience/Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 4 years experience in system/network trouble shooting
  • Experience in supporting an environment of more than 100 users

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Windows XP, MAC & Novell platform with good troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, email applications and hardware issues
