Duties and Responsibilities:


Overview

  • Leading medium to large-sized maritime projects
  • Responsible for the financial and technical success of maritime projects in Indonesia
  • Support business development and writing technical and commercial proposals

Internal operations/ business processes

  • Follow compliance with AG activities with the companies’ procedures and BL guidelines

Projects /Proposals

  • Responsible for positive execution result of projects (Scope, Time, Cost, Risk, Quality and Procurement Management) within the AG with a particular focus on risk management
  • Preparation of Contract Documents, Specifications, Bills of Quantities and supervision activities
  • Liaison with all levels of clients, local authorities, contractors and specialist consultants on administrative and technical subjects
  • Utilize your technical and working knowledge of both design and construction practices
  • Provide the key link between project delivery (internal) and the Client’s organization (external), when initiating projects.
  • Be a figure of authority, trust, support and security for project teams
  • Provide sound engineering judgment and advice.
  • Coach and mentor junior project managers.
  • Proactively manages the preparation and coordinates the review of proposals prepared by the AG.


Clients/ Markets

  • Proactive participation in business development
  • Proactive management of opportunities and leads.
  • Coordination of the marketing activities if applicable.
  • Responsible for Client relations including maintaining or achieving client satisfaction
  • Client account management


Requirement:

  • Good business sense
  • Cultural (international) sensitivity
  • Ability to build good relationship with clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good organizational skills and project management competencies
  • Flexible and enthusiastic
  • Approachable and sensitive to team members’ needs

Qualification & Experience:

  • 10+ years relevant industry experience
  • Active network in maritime market (at senior level), preferably in engineering consulting
  • Relevant experience in managing project teams
  • Appropriate degree qualification, with technical background
  • Chartered if appropriate within discipline
  • Willing to travel in the region to suit the requirements of the role
