The Communications Officer will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of media and communications outputs mainly under the Health and WASH Programme focussed on external news media, social media and other digital communications and capacity strengthening of National Societies; facilitating sharing knowledge and increase the programme visibility in the member countries and other relevant stakeholders, particularly relating to CP3 (Community Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness), the Polio Eradication Campaign as well as WASH initiatives.
The Communications Officer will work under direct supervision of Sr Communication Officer and technical support from Development and Quality Assurance Coordinator at IFRC CCD Indonesia and APRO Communication Manager.
The Incumbent will work closely with the IFRC Communications team to support Health and WASH program team and technical assistant for overall communication issue for IFRC programming to execute the following tasks:
