Job Responsibilities General responsibilities:
  • To manage all accounts within Indonesia and ensure that Malvern Instruments is represented in all relevant purchase opportunities.
  • To achieve annual sales targets for the territory.
  • To accurately and consistently maintain records (in a timely fashion) for assigned opportunities, including forecast information.
  • To develop and maintain a good level of product knowledge for the Malvern Instruments range and for competitive technologies.
  • To organize demonstrations, attend seminars and exhibitions. To promote the professional image of Malvern Instruments at all times.

Leadership responsibilities:
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Technical Product Sales and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning

Requirements Functional skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned products/services/systems and an existing network of contacts
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • A working knowledge of particle characterization techniques and/or applications would be an advantage.

Education:
Minimum education in degree level in the field of science (physics, chemistry, pharmacy) or engineering (chemical engineering, materials engineering, metallurgical engineering).
Work experience:
Minimum 3 years sales experience in scientific Instrumentation
