Provides administrative and/or customer service support to multi-shift
terminal operations. Serves as the point-of-contact for processing and
verifying shipment documentation, tracking incoming freight and
preparing packages for shipments.
Verifies accuracy of inbound and outbound shipping documents.
Supports the Customer Service and Yard Operations teams with data entry,
reporting and customer communication.
Coordinates documentation for incoming freight.
Monitors and tracks incoming containers and inventory accuracy.
Interacts with brokers, other departments, and the customer on a daily
basis to communicate on status of freight and resolve pending issues.
Provides constant communication with Customer Service and Operations to
ensure the schedule of the day’s activity with containers is met.
Ensures that the following day’s plan is discussed and followed. Any
deviation to the plan should be communicated in a timely manner.
Maintains direct contact with the customer on data integrity issues.
Handles/assists with data changes and/or updates.
Evaluates the propertyâs participation in the various sales channels (e.g., Area Sales, Group Sales within the Sales Office, electronic lead channels, etc.).
Equivalent education, training and/or certification may be substituted for experience and education shown above.
He or she may coach other program trainers.
