To comply against all QHSE requirements and supports on any QHSE initiatives to achieve the safe work condition
Monitor incoming materials and work with buyer to ensure materials are available for execution as per loading plan to support meeting Plant objectives such as but not limited to On Time Delivery and Revenue
Work with capacity planner to understand planned capacity and load and provide necessary input considering material readiness vs target finished date
Review newly received purchase orders/cross company stock transfer order and promise with a reasonable delivery date with considering availability of materials, capacity, and lead time and ensure alignment between each level of in-house make items as specified in Bill of Materials
Work with production planner to review Open Order Report and provide immediate response to customer or project team for any pull in/push out request from customer
Daily review of deliverables readiness against promised delivery date and work with Production Planner to monitor and ensure open orders execution progress are on-track
Analyze, highlight, and escalate if there is any concern or potential risks which could prevent the organization meeting customer demands such as machine or equipment breakdown, shortfall of resources, quality issue etc.
Analyze the potential cost and delivery impact of any non-conformance issue and provide recommendation of the most economic and or efficient route for the organization to meet or minimize impact to delivery
Action and follow up on the Major/Minor revision and minimize impact to plant objectives
Implement all processes to agreed standards, identify areas of improvement, and support any continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Job Qualifications
Degree in business or industrial management or other relevant study
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Material Planner/PMC/PPIC/Supply Chain Planner/Program Administrator (less experience candidate with an excellent attributes and skillsets would also be considered)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Outstanding knowledge of MRP, manufacturing processes and supply chain management
Strong analytical and Critical thinking with problem-solving and influencing skills
Familiar with ERP/SAP system and Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially MS excel
Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the costs, production, and customer order fulfilment
Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
