Who you are
Responsible for managing end to end accounting process and reporting in production of accurate, quality and timely financial reporting; ensuring adherence to financial accounting controls and polices; coordinating the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process; and coordinating general ledger maintenance and security with the Shared Service function outside the country. Will manage the preparation, analysis and/or review of the internal and external financial reports, reporting to the authorities, the executive leadership team, etc. Will also stay abreast of current accounting issues affecting the company to properly implement strategies to accommodate the reporting requirements of the issues identified.
A typical day
Ensures that team members adhere to financial accounting and reporting controls and maintain a high degree of accuracy and work quality.
Designs, recommends, implements, maintains and monitors financial accounting and reporting processes, policies and systems. Continuously focuses on process improvements and simplification of financial accounting and reporting processes.
Responsible in preparation process of Budgeting and Forecasting, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
Successfully manages the implementation of change within the organization relating to financial accounting and reporting processes and systems.
Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and adequacy.
Ensures financial accounting and reporting policies are clear, current, relevant and regularly communicated.
Ensures assigned account reconciliations are completed in accordance with policy.
Manage work of offshore vendor.
Manages external financial audits and financial examinations.
Maintain strong working relationships and business partnering with the business.
Strong understanding in Compliance and Control.
Supporting Line Manager and Business in Adhoc tasks.
Experience
Bachelor's degree (accounting, business, finance)
10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting role (preferred Managerial Level) in Multinational Company (Manufacturing/Industrial/FMCG preferred).
With a Master's, 6 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Fluent in English
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements, budget and forecast.
SAP FICO module experience is mandatory
