About the role
  • The OSCO Graduate Trainee reports to a Production Manager role. This role will be accountable to lead and deliver specific projects and execute day to day operations providing exposure to overall shift performance. Drive the agenda of operations excellence in line with long-term sustainable growth and the Go4Zero strategy through the implementation of OSCO transformation. Responsible to deliver projects which involve managing production/engineering activities and delivering production goals by implementing operation strategies and objectives.
  • This Graduate program will offer you the opportunity to further develop your career within our production and engineering department. Over the 2 years term, you will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.
  • Travel for up to six (6) months is required
  • Flexible to work across the various region in Indonesia

Key responsibilities include
  • Lead and manage key projects within the shift production team to ensure all product is manufactured in an optimal way within agreed specifications, schedule, and budget by controlling, leading, developing, and motivating people; ensuring all equipment are working in an optimal, safe and hygienic way; introducing new production techniques; ensuring procedures are followed and continuously improving standards of hygiene, safety and conformance. Work collaboratively with various functions to deliver key projects which deliver the operation goals
  • Over the 3 rotations, you will gain experience across core areas including:
    • Chocolate Processing technologies and process knowledge
    • Safety and quality standards/requirements for chocolate operations
    • Leading, building, and managing team with operations responsibilities
    • Manpower planning optimization
    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving by leveraging Continuous Improvement tools
    • Compliance with the Basic standard in electrical installations and facilities
    • Production and maintenance management

About you
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, or similar
  • Exposure to a production environment or food manufacturing experience during an internship is an added advantage
  • Proficient in written and spoken English. Proficiency in the native language will be advantageous.
  • Good communicator and able to cascade information
  • Demonstrates planning and organization skills
  • Analytical and able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in the production or engineering field.
  • Ability to work independently and handle projects
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
  • Leadership experience is an added advantage
