Your field of responsibility


You will work in the Indonesia IT Country Management Function part of APAC Technology & Change organization, an energetic, ambitious and open environment, responsible for oversight and governance of Information Security and Technology risks and compliance with technology-related regulatory obligations across all areas of CS IT for Indonesia.

You will be responsible to support the IT Country Head for Indonesia with various initiatives, particularly in, but not limited to the following areas:

  • Drive compliance to local IT regulatory expectations by understanding the requirements, mapping to CS policies/processes & engagement with CISO, IT teams, compliance, local management
  • Provide oversight to local IT activities, act as immediate escalation-point to local management
  • Support local governance by representing IT in the Indonesia governance and control forums. Provide updates on IT initiatives, incidents, technology risks impacting Indonesia
  • Handling regulatory/audit activities such as inspections, attending to new regulations/circulars, incident reporting, internal/external audits pertaining to IT. Track regulatory/audit commitments
  • On-site face-off to regulators/exchange on IT matters including industry briefings, exchange tests / mock trading
  • Oversee critical IT incidents impacting Indonesia by ensuring adequate support from IT teams and keeping partners fully engaged including updating regulator, exchange as necessary
  • Partner with local IT team to support Indonesia IT applications (front to back systems), maintain the production environment, DR site and implement changes in-line with CS global policies
  • Accountable for maintenance of inventory of IT applications locally consumed, IT outsourcings for Indonesia and overseeing the local IT Disaster recovery planning & execution
  • Maintain engagement with peer banks, have an understanding on market practices on IT topics

The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The department encompasses the APAC Wealth Management and Products IT organizations, together with integrated cross-divisional capabilities for Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, Risk and Control, Program Management and Governance.


This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience


To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 8 years of experience in the banking/financial industry and experience in IT risk governance
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in technology, computer science or related fields
  • Good proficiency in IT infrastructure development, support and management
  • Knowledge of IT-related regulations for Indonesia and management of technology risks and controls
  • A solid team-player with excellent interpersonal skills and an independent contributor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to get along with all levels including senior partners
  • Strong capability for running multiple tasks simultaneously understanding priority and delivery timeline
  • Strong personal impact, ability to influence/persuade partners over key decisions/deliverables
  • Good at gathering and organizing information, analyzing data and preparing reports
  • High-level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
