Senior Project Engineer - ( 2202485 )

Job Overview:

  • Coordinate and review inputs from the various functional department and out house contractors contributing to the execution on the project.
  • Coordinate and ensure the generation of deliverables/reports/procedures required for the project.
  • On-site PMTE representative for fabrication.
  • Interface and focal point between KL based PMT and PMTI Batam fabrication management team for all site and technical queries relating to fabrication design, materials and completion.
  • Drive and oversee coordination / collaboration between PTMI project and functional teams including but not limited to Safety, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, HUC, Marine etc.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Coordinate and review of all inputs and changes to the project plan, scope of work, drawings and specifications. Log and evaluate impact of all changes in the Desk Top Change Management System (DTCMS).
  • Monitor work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each activity.
  • Ensure all procedures and calculations are submitted the client for review and approval. Monitors their approvals with client.
  • Attend the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and prepares the Minutes of Meetings

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Possess Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preference)
  • Possess 15 Years minimum experience in Oil & Gas Construction.
  • Construction project coordination experience in onshore construction and/ or offshore installation.
