Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Category management: Drive the growth of the category in line with the platform strategy and the priorities of each of the countries
2. Business Growth: Enable the aggressive growth plans of the category by driving brand partnerships, improving seller engagement and initiating key product developments. Ensuring good business health by focusing on the right fundamentals for the category (right sellers, right assortment, pricing etc.)
3. Brand Partnerships: Grow existing brand relationships by organizing regular performance reviews and planning regular marketing initiatives. Onboard new brands which are critical to the growth of the category and hand-hold them till they build a sustainable E-Commerce business
4. Developing new business - identifying new business within categories on where to play, onboarding new brands, retailers and partners.
5.Campaign management: Support country teams on campaign management – flash sales, monthly campaigns and mega campaigns.
Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have: 5-8 years’ experience in e-Commerce industry or related retail company
2. Basics of E-Commerce business: You should appreciate the dynamics of online business and the challenges associated with building a business online
3. High proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
4. Entrepreneurial and creative mindset with well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills
5. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize them and meet deadlines
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
Perform Quality Assurance checks during verification calls to eliminate incident reports.
Liaise with brokers through calls/ emails for any bookings submittedâ¦
