Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Cashier – Penanganan Transaksi Penjualan to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for shoppers, handling cash, card, and digital transactions with accuracy and speed while delivering a friendly and professional experience. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and is open to candidates of any gender who meet the educational and age criteria.
Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions efficiently using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment methods, balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product inquiries, and resolving minor complaints on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the display of promotional materials and impulse‑buy items.
- Collaborate closely with inventory staff to verify product availability and report out‑of‑stock situations.
- Assist in daily reconciliation reports, flagging any discrepancies for the store manager’s review.
- Uphold company policies on fraud prevention, ensuring all transactions comply with security protocols.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current with new POS features, promotional campaigns, and customer‑service best practices.
- Support team members during peak hours by opening additional checkout lanes or helping with bagging and receipt handling.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 19‑30 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 0‑1 year of experience in a retail cashier or similar customer‑service role.
- Core Skills: Proficiency with cash‑handling systems and basic computer literacy; familiarity with the Sistem Kasir platform is a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Honesty, politeness, strong sense of responsibility, and an attractive, professional appearance.
- Teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, supporting a positive and efficient store environment.
- Communication: Clear verbal skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey information calmly and courteously.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and willingness to work the specified schedule, including weekends.
