Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Collector Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our growing finance team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers, collecting outstanding payments, and building strong relationships in the community. The successful candidate will work primarily in the field, representing our brand with professionalism and integrity while meeting daily collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers for debt collection, ensuring respectful and effective communication.
- Negotiate repayment plans, offering flexible solutions that align with both company policy and the customer’s financial situation.
- Collect payments in cash or via electronic methods, verify the amount received, and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of visits, outcomes, and any promises to pay, using the company’s mobile reporting system.
- Prepare and submit detailed activity reports to the regional supervisor, highlighting successes, challenges, and any escalated cases.
- Achieve or exceed assigned collection targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) each month.
- Identify and report high‑risk accounts that may require legal action or further credit assessment.
- Collaborate with the customer service and credit departments to resolve disputes and improve overall collection efficiency.
- Stay up‑to‑date with local area knowledge, including traffic patterns and community events, to optimize route planning.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance guidelines, including data privacy and consumer protection laws.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, aged 18‑40 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in collection; 2 years preferred.
- Valid motorcycle (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C license.
- Strong knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven record of closing deals.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical collection practices.
- Proficiency with basic mobile reporting tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
