Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Preschool and Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our growing educational team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who holds a bachelor’s degree, possesses at least one year of teaching experience, and demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment for young learners. Candidates must be male, Muslim, and able to communicate effectively in both active and passive English.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate lesson plans for preschool and elementary classes, aligning with national curriculum standards and the school’s pedagogical philosophy.
- Implement engaging instructional strategies that incorporate play‑based learning, inquiry‑driven science activities, and foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, maintaining detailed records and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance lesson delivery and support diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Uphold the school’s values and cultural expectations, serving as a positive role model for students.
- Manage classroom logistics, including attendance, scheduling, and the preparation of instructional materials.
- Promote social‑emotional development by teaching conflict‑resolution skills, empathy, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Psychology, Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD), or any relevant field for preschool; or a degree in Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Geography, History, or related disciplines for elementary education.
- Age: Maximum 38 years old.
- Gender & Religion: Male and Muslim.
- Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in a preschool or elementary setting.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, both spoken and written (active/passive).
- Core Skills: Strong classroom management, lesson planning, student assessment, and the ability to develop teaching skills (Pengembangan Keterampilan Mengajar).
- Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork, communication, adaptability, patience, and a passion for child development.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 07:15 – 16:00.
