SPX Logistics is expanding its warehouse operations across the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) region and is conducting a walk‑in interview for the position of Sorter Gudang. The role involves handling parcels and ensuring that every item is accurately sorted, scanned, and prepared for dispatch. Successful candidates will join a dynamic logistics hub that supports e‑commerce, retail, and wholesale distribution networks throughout Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming and outgoing parcels according to designated area codes, delivery zones, or carrier requirements.
- Load and unload goods from and to operational vehicles, ensuring safe handling and compliance with weight limits.
- Operate handheld scanning devices to capture package data in real time, updating the warehouse management system accurately.
- Arrange packages neatly on pallets or shelves, verifying that items are undamaged and properly labeled before they move to the next stage.
- Assist supervisors with loading and unloading procedures, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, performing routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, waste removal, and equipment checks.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment issues to the shift leader promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily throughput targets while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 45 years.
- Gender: Male (as per operational requirements).
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and enter data.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move parcels weighing up to 25 kg for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and demonstrate reliability.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward workplace safety.
