Introduction
PT. Nusantara Logistics, a leading regional distributor based in Semarang, is expanding its delivery team to meet growing customer demand across Central Java. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Helper who will work closely with our drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure that every shipment arrives on time, in perfect condition, and with the highest level of service. This role is pivotal for maintaining our reputation for punctuality and professionalism in a competitive logistics market.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in locating exact delivery addresses, using maps or GPS tools to reduce travel time.
- Coordinate daily route changes with the head of delivery or the warehouse logistics team, ensuring drivers receive up‑to‑date instructions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and customers, addressing any complaints or special requests promptly and courteously.
- Load and unload company products according to safety standards and customer specifications, handling items with care to avoid damage.
- Support the driver in inspecting invoices and delivery notes, verifying that both the address and quantity match the order details.
- At the end of each shift, assist in the unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Confirm that delivered goods match the customer’s purchase order and that payment receipts are accurate and complete.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle checks, report any maintenance issues, and keep the delivery van clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Provide occasional support for warehouse activities, such as inventory counting or pallet organization, when delivery volume fluctuates.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, as per current operational policy.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Delivery Helper or in a similar logistics support role.
- Maximum age of 35 years.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s licenses for categories A, B, and C.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact politely with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages safely.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
- Basic numeracy for invoice verification and cash handling.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to cooperate across departments.
