Introduction
Accor, a global leader in hospitality, is seeking a dynamic Manajer Stewarding Operasional dan Kebersihan to join its dedicated team. This pivotal role oversees the daily stewardship and cleanliness operations across the property, ensuring that every guest experiences the highest standards of hygiene, service excellence, and operational efficiency. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. Shift flexibility, including weekends and public holidays, is required to maintain seamless service continuity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team to deliver spotless dining and public areas in line with Accor’s brand standards.
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are sanitized, waste is managed responsibly, and equipment is maintained.
- Coordinate with kitchen, front‑office, and facilities departments to synchronize workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special service requirements with professionalism and a guest‑oriented mindset.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean processes and sustainability practices, to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits, documenting compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Prepare and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, negotiate with vendors, and control costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are consistently applied across all shifts.
- Collaborate on cross‑functional projects, such as new outlet openings or refurbishment programs, providing expertise on cleanliness and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Diploma) or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of proven experience in stewarding or housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required, and English proficiency (spoken and written) is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and a guest‑centric attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating a diverse team and handling pressure during peak periods.
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, and proactive with a keen eye for operational nuances.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and vendor management is desirable.
