Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Accounting & Tax Manager to join our fast‑growing finance team. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, external auditors, and tax authorities, providing expert guidance on financial performance and tax planning. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze full‑set financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and implement robust tax strategies, ensuring compliance with all Indonesian tax laws, including income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
- Coordinate and lead the annual tax audit process, preparing schedules, responding to queries, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee the preparation of tax filings (e.g., SP2, SPT, PPh, PPN) and manage relationships with tax consultants and government agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, leveraging automation tools and best practices to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Lead a small team of accountants and tax specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including procurement, sales, and operations—to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial forecasting.
- Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and financial analyses that support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of changes in tax legislation, accounting standards (IFRS/PSAK), and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate governance policies, and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as Brevet A & B are a strong plus.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and tax functions, preferably within a manufacturing or services environment.
- Proven ability to prepare and analyze full‑set financial statements and conduct tax planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset, with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, with professional working proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
