Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Barista Specialist in Premium Tea Presentation to join our vibrant team at Pasar Permata Tangggulangin. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of premium teas, including specialty blends, herbal infusions, and artisanal tea‑based beverages.
- Maintain strict adherence to brewing protocols, water temperature, steeping times, and presentation standards to ensure consistent flavor profiles.
- Educate customers on tea origins, flavor notes, health benefits, and appropriate pairing suggestions.
- Operate and clean espresso machines, kettles, grinders, and other barista equipment while following hygiene and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of tea leaves, syrups, toppings, and related supplies; conduct regular stock checks and report shortages.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Collaborate with team members to design seasonal menu items and promotional tea tastings.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and inviting work environment, including regular sanitation of workstations and customer areas.
- Provide prompt, courteous service during both morning and evening shifts, adapting to rolling shift schedules as needed.
- Gather and respond to customer feedback, contributing ideas for service improvement and menu innovation.
Requirements
- Open to all genders; candidates must be ≤ 25 years old and unmarried.
- Completed any level of formal education (high school diploma or higher).
- No prior work experience required; a passion for tea and willingness to learn are essential.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program; full availability for shift work.
- Ability to work 7‑hour shifts on a rotating basis:
- Shift 1: 08:00 – 15:00 (flexible rolling)
- Shift 2: 15:00 – 21:00 (flexible rolling)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly demeanor.
- Attention to detail, especially regarding measurement, timing, and presentation of tea drinks.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 15 kg).
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
