Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staf Dapur Penyiapan Makanan dan Kebersihan to join our vibrant café‑bakery team. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of food preparation, beverage service, and overall kitchen cleanliness that our guests expect. The successful candidate will work closely with baristas, bakers, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service periods.
Responsibilities
- Assist baristas in preparing a wide range of coffee‑based drinks, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.
- Support bakers with cake and dessert decoration, following detailed recipes and design specifications.
- Manage and monitor inventory of raw materials, performing regular stock counts and notifying supervisors of low‑stock items.
- Handle dishwashing duties during high‑traffic periods to keep workstations clean and ready for service.
- Operate as a flexible waiter‑cashier when needed: input orders into the POS system, process electronic payments (EDC), and serve customers promptly.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to execute daily prep lists, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and ready for service.
- Participate in periodic deep‑cleaning projects, such as floor scrubbing, equipment maintenance, and waste disposal.
- Provide feedback on menu items and suggest improvements based on customer preferences and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: 24 years or younger.
- Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain product consistency.
- Strong sense of discipline, reliability, and responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays (Tuesday – Sunday, 12:30 – 21:30).
- Basic proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and EDC payment machines.
- Creative flair for decorating pastries and desserts, as well as basic oven operation skills.
