Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Barista to join our vibrant coffeehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high‑quality coffee beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations throughout the shift.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Take customer orders accurately, provide product recommendations, and answer questions about menu items and coffee origins.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and manage the POS system with attention to detail.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; communicate restocking needs to the shift supervisor.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, ensuring a hygienic environment for both staff and patrons.
- Collaborate with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, seasonal menu items, and customer service best practices.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, promotional events, and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a comparable barista or café role.

- Basic mathematical ability for cash handling and inventory tracking.
