Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and process all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry according to established classification criteria.
- Operate industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Inspect each item for stains, damage, or wear, and apply appropriate treatment methods to ensure pristine quality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track linen usage, and coordinate with housekeeping to replenish supplies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry hygiene regulations, including proper chemical handling and waste disposal.
- Document daily production reports, machine maintenance logs, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet tight turnaround deadlines, especially during peak occupancy periods.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests who request personal laundry services, ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery.
- Participate in routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all occupational health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK; D3/D4 preferred in a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of proven experience as a laundry attendant, preferably within the hospitality or hotel sector.
- Strong understanding of hotel operational standards and linen management procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction.
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and ability to represent the brand positively.
