Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Supir Pria – Pengemudi Kendaraan Komersial to join our logistics team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that goods are delivered safely, on time, and in perfect condition to our diverse client base across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in commercial driving, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative environment. Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing a structured schedule that balances productivity with personal time.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (motorcycles, light trucks, or vans) to transport goods, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and safety equipment, to ensure the vehicle meets all regulatory standards.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge, taking into account traffic conditions, roadworks, and delivery priorities.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo safely, using appropriate lifting techniques and securing devices to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and vehicle maintenance records, and submit them to the dispatch team at the end of each shift.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing client inquiries, obtaining signatures, and confirming delivery details.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse staff, dispatch coordinators, and other drivers to ensure seamless operations and meet tight delivery windows.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to unexpected challenges, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or adverse weather, while keeping supervisors informed.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on the road.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on defensive driving, vehicle handling, and emergency response procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Maximum 0 years (please note this appears to be a placeholder; candidates should meet the legal driving age in Indonesia).
- Gender: Male (Laki‑laki) – as specified by the client’s operational needs.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a commercial vehicle driver or in a related transportation role.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license appropriate for the class of vehicle to be operated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the flexibility to work independently when required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
