Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide product recommendations that enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by arranging merchandise, updating signage, and ensuring product displays are attractive and organized.
- Assist with inventory control, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handle cash, and issue receipts.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and forward complex issues to the store manager.
- Support store opening and closing procedures, such as cleaning, securing cash drawers, and preparing daily reports.
- Participate in periodic sales promotions, product launches, and in‑store events, helping to drive foot traffic and sales volume.
- Adhere to company policies on safety, hygiene, and loss‑prevention, ensuring a secure environment for both customers and staff.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve weekly sales targets and maintain a cohesive work atmosphere.
- Continuously improve product knowledge through training sessions and self‑study to become a trusted advisor for shoppers.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 20‑27 years old.
- Gender: Female (must be wearing hijab).
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program (full availability for part‑time schedule).
- Availability: Part‑time, 6 hours per day, with two shift options:
- Shift 1: 09:00‑15:00
- Shift 2: 15:00‑21:00
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic retail skills such as product arrangement, store operations, and customer service.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, adhering to the store’s operating hours (08:00‑17:00).
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and grow within the retail sector.
