Introduction
The Advisor Progress Initiatives role at English 1 Center is a pivotal position focused on enhancing the learning journey of our students while fostering strong relationships with parents and teachers. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail‑oriented, and possess strong interpersonal and English communication skills. They will work a standard schedule from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating closely with the teaching staff, families, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between classroom teachers, students, and parents to facilitate timely updates on learning progress and address any concerns.
- Organize and lead parent‑focused events such as course orientations, parent‑teacher conferences, achievement ceremonies, and regular progress briefings.
- Observe classroom sessions to assess student abilities, gather insights, and provide constructive feedback to teachers for instructional improvement.
- Maintain accurate student records, monitor attendance, and proactively contact parents regarding performance, attendance, or any issues.
- Track teaching quality and learning outcomes by coordinating feedback loops among teachers, students, and parents, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality educational experience.
- Prepare and distribute monthly media reports that summarize student progress, retention statistics, and satisfaction metrics for senior management.
- Manage student administration including payment processing, enrollment renewals, retention sales initiatives, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Handle complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating when necessary to preserve trust and retain families.
- Support school sales targets by promoting retention strategies and identifying opportunities for upselling additional courses or services.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop communication materials that highlight student achievements and centre milestones.
Requirements
- University graduate (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing, sales, customer service, consulting, or the education sector.
- Strong self‑learning attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills—both oral and written—in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and flexible, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated multitasking ability, strong organizational and planning competencies.
- Pleasant, open‑minded personality that builds trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in administrative and sales‑related software applications.
