To maintain the fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment, we are seeking a motivated Bar Back – Asisten Penunjang Pelayanan Bar who can support the bar team, ensure seamless operations, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, cutting fruits, and stocking cocktail ingredients for each shift.
- Maintain an organized bar back area, ensuring glassware, bar tools, and supplies are cleaned, polished, and readily available.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, soft drinks, and bar consumables; promptly report low stock to the Bar Manager.
- Transport ice, bottles, and kegs from storage to the bar, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Keep the bar workstations, service stations, and surrounding areas tidy throughout service hours.
- Support the bar team during peak periods by clearing used glasses, resetting stations, and handling simple drink orders under supervision.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash drawer preparation, waste disposal, and end‑of‑day cleaning checklists.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to customer needs, answering basic menu questions, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and floor staff to coordinate service flow and minimize wait times.
- Participate in regular training sessions on bar safety, responsible alcohol service, and emerging beverage trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: All genders welcome.
- At least 6 months of experience in a bar, café, or other food & beverage (F&B) environment; experience in high‑volume settings is a plus.
- Formal training or a background in culinary arts (Jurusan Tata Boga) is considered an additional advantage.
- Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads (e.g., kegs, cases of bottles).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow directions quickly and accurately.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Basic knowledge of bar equipment, glassware handling, and responsible alcohol service.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
