Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly, professional demeanor, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment they step in.
- Explain the full range of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and seasonal beverages, answering questions and offering personalized recommendations.
- Accurately take and record orders using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Prepare and serve beverages to exacting standards, mastering espresso extraction, milk texturing, pour‑over techniques, and cold brew preparation.
- Present accompanying snack items neatly and maintain consistent portion control.
- Maintain a spotless work area, including counters, equipment, and customer seating, adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and disposables; conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as cleaning grinders, descaling espresso machines, and calibrating brew parameters.
- Comply with all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, completing required documentation and checklists.
- Gather and convey customer feedback to management, contributing ideas for service improvements and new menu items.
- Stay current with coffee industry trends, suggesting innovative drinks that align with local tastes and global movements.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth shift transitions, covering breaks, and supporting peak‑hour demand.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and training sessions to continually enhance product knowledge and service skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, age 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a specialty coffee environment.
- Proficiency in operating coffee grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team‑player attitude with a willingness to adapt quickly to new procedures and menu changes.
- Basic computer literacy, especially familiarity with POS and sales‑management applications.
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards and completing routine stock‑taking tasks.
