Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staf Serba Guna – Penanganan Tugas Operasional to join our dynamic hospitality team in Solo. This full‑time role is ideal for energetic male candidates who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, particularly during peak periods such as weekends, holidays, and the Lebaran season. The successful applicant will work closely with kitchen staff, front‑of‑house personnel, and management to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up dining areas before service, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and cutlery.
- Welcome guests with a courteous, professional demeanor and guide them to their seats.
- Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately to the kitchen and bar stations.
- Support waitstaff by delivering dishes, refilling drinks, and clearing tables promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining floor, restroom facilities, and back‑of‑house areas throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory of tableware, napkins, and consumables; report shortages to the supervisor.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system when required, ensuring accurate billing.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as plating, garnish arrangement, and assembling ready‑to‑serve items.
- Respond quickly to guest inquiries or concerns, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
- Participate in weekly briefings to discuss menu updates, service standards, and safety protocols.
- Provide coverage during staff shortages, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the Lebaran holiday period.
- Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance in line with Islamic values and company policy.
Requirements
- Male, Muslim, aged between 18 and 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; active university students are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a culinary setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and honesty.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
- Flexibility to work on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the Lebaran holiday season.
- Residency in Solo, preferably near Alun‑Alun Utara, to ensure punctuality and local knowledge.
- Basic numeracy and proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
