Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to our signature recipes.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with precision, performing routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable conversation, answering questions about bean origins, roast profiles, and brewing techniques.
- Train and mentor junior barista staff, sharing best practices in latte art, drink preparation, and customer interaction.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, placing orders and conducting stock checks to avoid shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the café manager to develop seasonal drink menus and promotional events that attract new clientele.
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately, balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Collect and respond to customer feedback, turning insights into actionable improvements for service and product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a senior or lead barista in a specialty coffee setting.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional coffee‑related certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with customers of all backgrounds.
- Professional appearance and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
- Strong passion for specialty coffee, including knowledge of bean origins, roasting processes, and brewing methods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Team player who can also work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
