Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Waiter to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a restaurant setting, a solid understanding of food and beverage service standards, and a genuine passion for delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of daily specials, dietary options, and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently, checking in with guests throughout the dining experience to address any additional needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, polishing cutlery, and resetting stations between seatings.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak periods.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, accurately processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and personal grooming standards.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, glassware, and service supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting teammates, sharing knowledge, and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service protocols, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years (maximum).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 2 years of proven experience working as a waiter or in a similar front‑of‑house role within a restaurant.
- Possession of a valid Indonesian KTP (identification card).
- Strong commitment and serious intent to work full‑time.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under high‑pressure situations.
- Demonstrated skills in food and beverage service, including knowledge of proper serving etiquette and menu familiarity.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
