Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes while adhering to recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Engage with customers, take orders, recommend menu items, and handle payments using the POS system.
- Ensure the café area, workstations, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, pastries, and other supplies at the start of each shift and during service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing for food orders and ensure smooth service flow.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and inventory checks.
- Continuously develop barista skills through training sessions, taste tests, and staying updated on emerging coffee trends.
- Contribute ideas for new drink creations, seasonal promotions, and customer‑experience enhancements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of professional barista experience in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Team‑player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues during peak hours.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward continuous learning.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
