Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages following established recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, including regular equipment cleaning, inventory checks, and proper storage of coffee beans and supplies.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering product questions, and providing personalized recommendations.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems accurately, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Collaborate closely with teammates during shift handovers, ensuring seamless service continuity and effective communication of any issues.
- Monitor and manage coffee inventory, placing orders for beans, milk, syrups, and consumables to prevent shortages.
- Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and customer service protocols.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, conducting routine checks and reporting any concerns to management promptly.
- Participate in promotional events, seasonal menu rollouts, and community outreach initiatives that enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Male candidates only (as specified by the employer).
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age limit: 30 years old or younger.
- Prior barista experience is highly preferred, though enthusiastic newcomers with a strong willingness to learn will also be considered.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, customer‑oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk frothing, and flavor balancing.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, including occasional weekend or holiday shifts as needed.
