Introduction
Fresh Hub Jakarta Timur is a leading logistics and distribution center specializing in the handling of fresh, frozen, and perishable products across Indonesia. We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive male professional, up to 35 years of age, with at least one year of experience in retail or warehouse environments dealing with fresh produce such as vegetables, fruits, and meat. This role is essential to maintain the highest standards of product safety, freshness, and compliance throughout our inbound and storage processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of fresh, frozen, and related products during inbound receipt and while stored in the hub.
- Identify and flag any items that do not meet consumption standards, updating stock status to reflect “bad stock” when necessary.
- Measure and record temperature readings of chiller units, freezers, and ambient storage areas using calibrated thermometers, following established SOPs.
- Ensure proper product placement and handling, coordinating with hub staff to correct sub‑optimal storage conditions or to relocate items as required.
- Gather, organize, and maintain detailed documentation of all inspection activities, including photographic evidence where appropriate.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily reports summarizing inspection results, temperature logs, and any corrective actions taken.
- Participate in shift rotations (morning, afternoon, night) to provide continuous coverage and uphold quality standards 24/7.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as inventory control, procurement, and logistics—to support seamless product flow and minimize waste.
- Assist in periodic internal audits and external regulatory inspections by providing required data and insights.
- Continuously suggest process improvements to enhance product integrity, reduce spoilage, and increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Male applicant, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in retail, warehousing, or distribution of fresh produce, frozen goods, or meat.
- Demonstrated ability to assess the quality of perishable items and recognize signs of deterioration.
- Strong attention to detail, quick decision‑making skills, and a high level of responsibility.
- Comfortable working in a shift system (morning, afternoon, night) and handling physical tasks in a temperature‑controlled environment.
- Basic proficiency with temperature‑monitoring equipment and familiarity with documentation tools.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with hub staff, supervisors, and external partners.
