Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of coffee beverages—including espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, and specialty drinks—according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment to ensure consistent taste and optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; place orders and receive deliveries while adhering to stock‑control procedures.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer, offering recommendations, answering product questions, and handling special requests.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, process cash and card transactions, and issue receipts or invoices.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards: clean workstations, sanitize equipment, and follow food‑handling regulations.
- Collaborate with teammates to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal wait times.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new brewing techniques, seasonal menu items, and customer service excellence.
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation, promotional events, and community outreach programs.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK or SMA; candidates holding a D3/D4 qualification are strongly preferred.
- Age limit: 28 years or younger.
- Both male and female applicants are welcome; the position currently emphasizes a male candidate for operational balance, but all qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
- Prior barista experience is advantageous, especially for candidates residing in Demak.
- Demonstrated work ethic: hard‑working, meticulous, honest, and able to thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
