Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Bidan Terampil to join our dynamic team delivering comprehensive maternal and child health services. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based care for mothers, newborns, and young children within our community health facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to promote health education, preventive care, and early intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care, including routine examinations, counseling, and monitoring of maternal vital signs.
  • Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safe birthing practices, and emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct newborn assessments, administer immunizations, and educate parents on breastfeeding, nutrition, and infant hygiene.
  • Perform health education sessions for families on topics such as family planning, nutrition, growth monitoring, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, update electronic medical charts, and ensure confidentiality of all health information.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, health fairs, and home‑visit initiatives to extend services to underserved populations.
  • Stay current with national guidelines, continuing education, and best practices in maternal‑child health.
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior staff and community health volunteers.
  • Monitor inventory of medical supplies, report shortages, and support procurement of essential equipment.

Requirements

  • Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) for midwifery.
  • Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent education; additional certifications in maternal‑child health are a plus.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a midwife in a clinical or community setting.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
