As a Business Partner Staff, you will act as the frontline ambassador of Amartha’s loan program, connecting with potential borrowers, supporting existing members, and ensuring the smooth operation of our lending cycle. Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new micro‑entrepreneurial clients within the assigned territory, presenting Amartha’s financing solutions and encouraging enrollment in the loan program.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to existing borrowers to provide economic counseling, monitor business performance, and reinforce responsible repayment habits.
  • Perform detailed feasibility surveys and credit‑worthiness analyses, ensuring each loan application complies with Amartha’s risk policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full collection cycle, including timely reminders, negotiation of repayment schedules, and escalation of delinquent accounts while maintaining a respectful and solution‑focused approach.
  • Maintain accurate field records in the company’s CRM system, updating client profiles, activity logs, and financial data on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with internal underwriting, risk, and product teams to provide feedback from the field, helping to refine product offerings and improve service delivery.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, community events, and outreach programs to continuously develop product knowledge and community engagement skills.
  • Adhere to a strict schedule of Monday‑to‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with the flexibility to travel to remote locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years; maximum age limit of 33 years for senior candidates.
  • Both male and female candidates are welcome, though female applicants are preferred to align with community engagement goals.
  • Possession of a personal motorbike or car is mandatory for daily field visits.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly among diverse households.
  • Resilience and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving in dynamic, sometimes challenging environments.
  • No prior experience is required; however, previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or basic financial services will be considered an advantage.
  • Basic digital literacy – comfortable using mobile applications, spreadsheets, and Amartha’s proprietary data collection tools.
