Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC to join our growing team in the Kabupaten Barito Utara area. In this role you will act as the front‑line ambassador for our electronic data capture (EDC) solutions, engaging small and medium‑sized enterprises (UMKM) and convincing them of the value of adopting modern payment technology. The position offers a competitive base salary, performance incentives, and a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily canvassing activities targeting UMKM clients, presenting the features and benefits of our EDC machines.
  • Achieve a sales target of 2–3 new EDC units per day by identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential merchants through cold calling, door‑to‑door visits, and participation in local business events.
  • Provide on‑site demonstrations and hands‑on training to merchants, ensuring they are comfortable with device setup and transaction processing.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and emerging payment trends in the region.
  • Prepare and submit daily activity reports, sales forecasts, and customer feedback to the regional sales manager.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical support teams to resolve client issues promptly and to tailor promotional offers.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards while using a personal two‑wheel vehicle for field work.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales role, preferably in financial services, fintech, or point‑of‑sale equipment.
  • Valid SIM C and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel across the Kabupaten Barito Utara region.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust quickly with small business owners.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Basic analytical abilities to track sales performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend engagements for special promotions.
