Introduction

We are a fast‑growing retail organization seeking a dedicated Cashier – Penjualan Ritel who excels in delivering exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming shopping environment, ensuring accurate transactions, and supporting the overall sales strategy of our stores. Responsibilities

  • Process all cash, credit, and electronic transactions quickly and accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product queries and guiding them through promotions.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer, perform regular reconciliations, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
  • Monitor and restock checkout lanes with bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials to ensure a smooth flow of customers.
  • Collaborate with sales floor staff to resolve pricing issues, stock shortages, or any customer concerns that arise.
  • Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including preparing cash deposits and securing the POS terminal.
  • Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist with merchandising displays when required.
  • Adapt quickly to peak‑hour traffic, maintaining composure and efficiency while delivering consistent service quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or an equivalent qualification.
  • Open to all genders; diversity and inclusion are core values.
  • Prior experience in retail sales or cash handling is preferred, though fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are welcome.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to interact with a diverse customer base.
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven capability to operate effectively under pressure during busy periods.
  • Familiarity with POS software and basic arithmetic; willingness to learn advanced cashier systems.
  • Flexible schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
