Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Petugas Kebersihan Mess to join our facilities team in Bekasi. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors residing in our on‑site mess facilities. The successful candidate will work on a structured shift system, ensuring that every corner of the mess—from private rooms to communal kitchens—is kept to the highest standards of hygiene and orderliness.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas of the mess, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, and shared lounge spaces.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of waste according to company waste‑management protocols, ensuring proper recycling and sanitary conditions.
- Inspect facilities daily for any signs of damage or maintenance issues and promptly report findings to the supervisor.
- Restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, cleaning agents, and linen, maintaining an organized inventory.
- Perform routine deep‑cleaning tasks such as floor scrubbing, carpet shampooing, window washing, and wall wiping on a scheduled basis.
- Assist in arranging and organizing furniture, equipment, and storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure seamless shift handovers and consistent service quality.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on the latest cleaning techniques and environmental sustainability practices.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged up to 40 years; female applicants may be considered for comparable roles.
- Minimum education: SMP/SMA or equivalent; a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) is preferred.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cleaning service or similar position.
- Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, mops, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Strong work ethic: punctual, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with supervisors.
- Willingness to work a fixed shift schedule, Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
