Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Part‑time Chef to join our premium catering team. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing culinary expertise that reflects our brand’s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes according to menu specifications and client preferences.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, adhering to local health regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Assist in menu planning, offering creative suggestions that showcase seasonal ingredients and modern culinary trends.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely receipt of fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform accurate stock counts, and help minimize waste through effective portion control.
  • Collaborate closely with service staff to guarantee seamless execution of banquet lines and plated service.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
  • Adapt quickly to last‑minute menu changes or special dietary requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, conducting regular equipment checks and reporting any maintenance needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food‑and‑beverage operation.
  • Demonstrated cooking skills with a focus on flavor balance, plating, and timing.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn and improve.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
