Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Teknisi Pemeliharaan (Maintenance Technician) for its Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat (Pontianak DC) operation. This full‑time role offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our automated sorting and conveyor systems, which are the backbone of our fast‑paced parcel delivery network.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the optimal condition and performance of conveyor belts, rollers, and associated sorting equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to assess equipment health, identify potential failures, and estimate remaining service life of critical components.
- Execute preventive maintenance plans, including lubrication, alignment checks, and sensor calibrations, to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC‑based faults, providing timely corrective repairs.
- Develop and implement improvement projects, such as retrofitting conveyor controls, upgrading safety guards, and optimizing workflow layouts.
- Interpret technical documentation—blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programs—to guide maintenance actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare‑part inventories, and compliance records in line with SPX Express safety standards.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule shutdowns, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure minimal impact on delivery schedules.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement meetings, sharing insights on equipment reliability and proposing cost‑effective solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably with conveyor or sorting systems.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures, PLC programming basics, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and system diagrams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward equipment reliability.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s current operational policy.
- Willingness to be based at the Pontianak Distribution Center, with working hours Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30.
