Introduction
The Community Officer (Subang) – Pengembangan Hubungan Masyarakat is a frontline role dedicated to empowering low‑income women in the Subang region. Acting as a trusted liaison between the organization and its members, the officer provides business mentorship, financial literacy training, and access to group‑based micro‑financing. This position is ideal for a socially‑driven, energetic individual who enjoys building relationships, travelling within the community, and making a tangible impact on women’s economic independence.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned villages and urban neighborhoods to establish rapport with women entrepreneurs and assess their business needs.
- Conduct regular group and one‑on‑one sessions on simple bookkeeping, budgeting, disciplined savings, and repayment planning.
- Facilitate the disbursement of group loan funds without collateral, ensuring that each member understands the terms and responsibilities.
- Monitor loan performance, follow up on repayments, and intervene early to resolve any repayment difficulties.
- Gather feedback from the community, document success stories, and relay actionable insights to the program management team.
- Coordinate with local partners, such as women’s cooperatives, training centers, and health clinics, to create a holistic support network.
- Organize community events, workshops, and financial literacy campaigns that raise awareness of the organization’s services.
- Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Excel and Word, preparing weekly reports on outreach activities, loan status, and client satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging participants to set short‑term goals and track their progress.
- Serve as a role model of professionalism, integrity, and empathy, fostering trust and long‑term loyalty among clients.
Requirements
- Female candidates only.
- Age between 18 and 33 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 degrees are welcomed.
- Strong interpersonal skills – a genuine passion for meeting new people and building community networks.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a focus on clear, empathetic messaging.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with solid organizational skills; able to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
- Adaptability to travel within the Subang area, often on a flexible schedule, and to work independently in field environments.
