Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Cook Crew – Kitchen Operations Team Member to join our fast‑paced culinary team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment, and are eager to grow their skills within the hospitality industry. The role is based at our flagship restaurant, operating Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in accordance with company recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Conduct regular stock opname, monitor inventory levels, and communicate shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and temperature control of perishable items.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely service and seamless order flow.
  • Participate in daily briefings, contribute ideas for menu improvements, and support special events or promotional tastings.
  • Adapt to high‑pressure situations during peak service periods while maintaining consistent quality and speed.
  • Follow all health, safety, and occupational guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Engage in continuous learning by attending in‑house training sessions, culinary workshops, and skill‑development programs.

Requirements

  • Male candidates only; unmarried or without dependents are preferred.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 0‑1 year of practical kitchen experience; prior exposure to a restaurant or catering environment is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen ingredients, food preparation techniques, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated honesty, politeness, meticulousness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
  • Capability to remain calm and productive under pressure.
  • Basic cooking skills, with a willingness to learn new cuisines and cooking methods.
