Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cook – Culinary Operations Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential to delivering high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, ensuring that every dish meets our brand’s standards for taste, presentation, and safety. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating with chefs, line staff, and management to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature monitoring, and regular cleaning of workstations.
- Operate and troubleshoot kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving deliveries, conducting stock counts, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new dishes, adapt menus for special events, and incorporate seasonal ingredients.
- Work efficiently under high‑pressure situations, especially during peak service periods, while maintaining consistent quality.
- Support team members by training junior staff on proper cooking techniques, safety practices, and workflow optimization.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to provide feedback, suggest process improvements, and stay aligned with operational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender.
- At least 0‑2 years of relevant kitchen experience; proven ability in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey instructions clearly.
