Responsibilities
- Assist head chefs and line cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

- Support the plating process by arranging dishes neatly and ensuring that presentation meets the restaurant’s standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of staples (e.g., flour, spices, vegetables) and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings, taking note of menu changes, special dietary requests, and safety protocols.
- Handle basic cooking operations such as boiling, steaming, and grilling under direct supervision.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking the quality of goods, and storing items appropriately.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper temperature control, cross‑contamination prevention, and proper waste disposal.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by anticipating the needs of the chefs and offering help before being asked.

Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
