Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cook Kitchen Operations and Meal Preparation Specialist to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, receive deliveries, and ensure proper storage of perishable and non‑perishable items.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to local health regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to coordinate meal production during peak service times.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting improvements, new dishes, and cost‑effective ingredient substitutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including daily cleaning schedules and deep‑cleaning procedures.
- Handle special dietary requests and accommodate allergen‑free preparations with precision.
- Record production logs, waste reports, and equipment maintenance checks to support continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship to junior kitchen assistants, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food‑service operation is preferred, though entry‑level candidates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply.
