Responsibilities
- Open and close the outlet according to standard operating procedures, ensuring all equipment, cash drawers, and inventory are accounted for.
- Take customer orders promptly, memorize the menu, and deliver food and beverages with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Handle light‑to‑moderate customer complaints calmly, offering solutions while maintaining brand standards.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, process payments, issue receipts, and perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
- Monitor the cash register for voids, refunds, and discounts, preventing discrepancies and flagging any irregularities.
- Assist wait staff during peak periods, ensuring tables are turned quickly and guests receive timely service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and management to communicate special requests, inventory needs, and any operational issues.
- Allocate tasks among team members, enforce a respectful yet firm work environment, and make rapid decisions during high‑traffic moments.
- Maintain basic stock levels, report shortages, and support inventory audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact when the supervisor is absent, guaranteeing that all SOPs are followed without interruption.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 – 2 years of experience in food & beverage service, preferably with shift‑lead or senior crew background.
- Proven ability to manage a busy outlet during breakfast and lunch rushes.
- Strong operational skills, including fast order taking, menu memorization, and multitasking between serving and cash handling.
- Proficiency with POS systems; meticulous cash handling with zero tolerance for unexplained variances.
- Understanding of daily closing reports and the ability to control voids, refunds, and discount procedures.
- Leadership qualities: capable of delegating tasks, communicating clearly with kitchen and ownership, and making swift decisions under pressure.
- Essential character traits: mental resilience, high stress tolerance, non‑defensive attitude, problem‑solving mindset, and no personal phone use during work hours.
